Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to all orders placed online, in person, by telephone or by any other method. Theses are the general terms and conditions of business for Hanna’s Nurseries.
Ordering
Use of our service and placing an order will constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Payments can be made by Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay.
When placing your order, you will be asked to provide your card details for payment.
All credit and debit card payments are subject to validation checks & authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of your order.
Out of stock and busy periods
If we encounter any delays to your order or if the item you have ordered is out of stock, we will let you know as soon as possible. We will provide you with an estimated delivery date once the order is confirmed. If we cannot provide you with this, you will be offered a full refund if you have already paid by card.
Whilst we make every effort possible to deliver your goods as quickly as possible, sometimes we can get very busy during peak sale periods and some items will sell out. At these times our delivery services will be pushed to its maximum capabilities and to avoid disappointment please order your goods as early as possible.
Delivery
All our orders are dispatched via our own drivers. We instruct our drivers to complete deliveries to the address you have stated on your customer order. If you are not in at the point of delivery our drivers will leave the goods in a safe place and photograph this as ‘proof of delivery’, where this is not possible we will contact you to rearrange delivery. For orders outside of the Larne Borough that require a delivery charge we will contact you to let you know when the planned delivery date and agree the ‘safe place’ for delivery if you are not home.
Your statutory rights are not affected.

Restricted Items
Some items on our website may be unsafe or dangerous to children. It is therefore a condition of purchase that you are aged 18 or over at the time you make the purchase from us. If you are aged under 18, please ask your parent or guardian for assistance.
Our Responsibilities to You
We can only be liable to you for losses that were reasonably foreseeable to both you and us at the time you place your order. We sell products for personal use in your home or garden and therefore cannot be liable for business losses such as loss of data, loss of income or other loss of business. Our total liability to you in any case will not exceed the total price charged to you. Nothing in this paragraph limits, attempts to limit, or affects our liability to you through our negligence.
Cancelling an Order/Returns Procedure
If you haven’t submitted an order, you may clear the items in your shopping basket at any time by clicking the ‘Remove’ button next to the product you do not wish to purchase in your shopping basket.
If you have placed an order but then wish to change or cancel it, please contact us as soon as you can. We will try our best to make any changes but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so as the order may already have been processed.
Once we've heard from you that you wish to cancel an order, any sum debited to us from your credit or debit card will be re-credited to that credit or debit account within 30 days of your order.
We are committed to providing you with quality plants and are confident that the utmost care and attention to detail has been taken in the processing, packing and delivery of your order to ensure that you receive it in perfect condition. If items are damaged on delivery and you are not satisfied, please contact us with 24 hours of delivery to notify us and we will either arrange a refund or replacement.
Perishable items are not returnable so unless there has been a fault with the order or product we cannot make exchanges or refunds.
Faulty items will need to be returned to Hanna’s Nurseries, Larne and will need to be made at your own cost.
April 2020 update- During the Covid-19 outbreak and UK lockdown measures we will not accept any returns or exchanges. Please contact us on info@hannasnurseries.com
Pricing and Descriptions
We have taken every measure to provide accurate product images for each product for sale on the site. However, due to a number of different factors such as Internet browsers, monitor colour contrasts etc, we cannot be held responsible or liable for any differences in colour between the image and the actual product. Plant size and blooms will vary depending on the time of the season, so photographs of products do not represent the size and bloom on your individual delivery. Products may vary from their descriptions. If there is anything that you do not understand, or if you wish to obtain further information, please contact info@hannasnurseries.com
If, by mistake, we have under-priced a product, we will not be liable to supply that product to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we dispatch the product to you. In those circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel your order. In the event we cancel your order, we will give you a full refund on any amount already paid for that product in accordance with our return and refund policy.
The price shown for our products on the website when placing your order is the price that you, the customer, will pay and includes import VAT. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. All prices are shown in UK pounds sterling. If it subsequently transpires that VAT is not due on your transaction, we reserve the right to retain the VAT.
The price of a product does not include the delivery charge, which will depend on the delivery address you choose and will be added during checkout.
